About Seventh-day Adventists
The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a Protestant church with approximately 22 million members worldwide, including more than one million members in North America. The Seventh-day Adventist Church seeks to share the Everlasting Gospel of Jesus Christ with every person on the planet and prepare them for His soon return to this earth in great power and glory.
Our Mission
Make disciples of Jesus Christ who live as His loving witnesses and proclaim to all people the everlasting gospel of the Three Angels’ Messages in preparation for His soon return (Matt 28:18-20, Acts 1:8, Rev 14:6-12).
Our Method
Guided by the Bible and the Holy Spirit, Seventh-day Adventists pursue the mission of making disciples through Christ-like living, healing, serving, proclaiming, teaching, and training.
Our Vision
In harmony with Bible revelation, Seventh-day Adventists see as the climax of God’s plan the restoration of all His creation to full harmony with His perfect will and righteousness.
Adventists believe in the Bible as the rule of faith and practice. Adventists believe that God is concerned with the quality of human life, and that everything—the way we live, eat, speak, think, treat each other, and care for the world around us—is part of His plan. Our families, our children, our jobs, our talents, our money, and our time are all important to Him.
